The iris, known to perfumers as orris butter, forms the top and the bottom notes of the fragrance while the vanilla creates a voluptuous white flower heart. Slight nuances of warm resin are present in the background. Vanilla whorling with rose and jasmine, the most feminine accord, complete the delicate theme. The finish on the skin is that of the precious orris, a tenaciously elegant but elusive fixative, reminiscent of the smell of violets.
